How should the vial be mixed?
Each kit comes complete with saline water to be injected into the vial.
The side of the saline water tube should first be wiped with an alcohol wipe to ensure the surface is sterile.
Once sterile, insert the needle in and draw back until the needle is full at 100 units (1ml).
After taking the yellow cap off vial, wipe the top of vials rubber cap to ensure the surface is sterile.
Pierce the needle through rubber cap of the vial and proceed to inject the full 100 units.
How long after mixing can the Melanotan be used?
The Melanotan is activated upon mixing and is ready to use straight away.
Tho we do recommend letting it settle for a least one minute before being used.
Shaking the vial is not required.

How to extract the Melanotan?
First, wipe the top of the rubber cap with an alcohol wipe to ensure the surface is sterile.
This should happen every time before use, regardless if this was done the night before.
Once sterile, leaving the vial facing upright pierce the needle through the rubber cap.
Once in, turn the vial upside down and draw back until the needle fill to 10 units (0.1mls).
Turn vial back upright before taking the needle out.
Always flick top the of the syringe to free any air bubbles that may have built up.
How and best place to inject?
The best place to inject the Melanotan is a pinched fat skinfold either side of your belly button. Once again the surface is to be alcohol wiped before needle insertion.
For added comfort, the needle can be inserted on a slight angle, instead of straight in.
After the Melanotan has been injected, pull the needle out and hold the wipe on the injected area rubbing lightly.
It is very important that only a half dose is taken on the first night.
This will be 5 units (0.05mls).
It is also recommended this step be repeated on the second night.
Please Note: It is not uncommon to feel a little light headed and maybe a light hot flush if you are a first time user.
When is the best time of day to take it?
Melanotan should always be taken last thing before bed.

Vials should always remain refrigerated once mixed.
How to keep unmixed vials?
Unmixed vials can also be stored in the refrigerator for some months, however, they have a far better lifespan in the freezer as they can remain stored there for well over 12 months.
How long before I should see results?
Results will be seen in the first week with a healthy sun-kissed glow. However, it is not uncommon for someone to not reach their desired colour until on their second vial depending on how much sun the user is getting in the mean time.
Already having a base colour makes a big difference on how quickly you can darken and also just how quickly you may reach your desired colour.
How much sun is required?
Whilst in early stages of usage (loading phase), sun should not be a major concern.
Allow the product some time to build the bodies melanin level's up.
This product can achieve amazing results, however, please remember Australia does have the harshest sun so do still be sun smart whilst in your early stages.
Yes, this product is designed to protect your skin from burning, however, this does not mean you are invincible on the beach all day unprotected under the Australian sun.
Day by day just also yourself gradually build on that fabulous colour.
What happens once I reach my desired colour?
Once you have reached your desired colour you will only require one to two injections a week to hold your desired tan.
Or you could say you will plan to do it on every fourth/fifth night?
How long will 1 vial last?
Starting the loading process, 1 vial will last 11 nights.
2 injections at 5 units (0.05ml
9 injections at 10 units (0.1mls)
Continuing the loading phase onto the second vial, the vial will last 10 nights or until you feel you no longer require everyday usage.
10 injections at 10 units (0.1mls)
Once you have reached your desired colour, one vial may last you up to a few months if only taken one to two times a week.
Will there be any other noticeable changes?
Melanotan II may also come with a noticeable increase in libido, deeper sleeps and also may experience weight loss.
